Care Options

Retirement Communities

Retirement communities are for active adults. The units are usually apartment type settings, which allow the individual to remain independent. At Tierra Rose we provide support services such as meals, housekeeping, transportation, and recreational and social programs.

Adult Foster Home

Adult Foster Home (AFH) services are usually in homes located in residential neighborhoods and service five (5) or fewer residents. Services include room and board and physical care – 24 hours a day.

Assisted Living Facilities

Assisted Living Facilities (ALF’s) are congregate living centers that provide supportive care and supervision. Residents have their own apartments with kitchenettes, and complete, private and handicap accessible bathrooms. Residents must generally be in stable medical condition.

Residential Care Facilities

Residential Care Facilities (RCF’s) are living centers that provide supportive care and supervision such as meals, laundry, bathing and personal care with 24-hour supervision. RCF’s serve residents with varying types of personal care needs and generally provide medication administration. They may provide other routine nursing and services to help manage behavioral symptoms. Resident accommodations vary from individual units with private bathrooms to semi-private rooms with shared bathrooms.

Nursing Facilities

This level of care includes Nursing Facilities (NF’s – Intermediate Care) and Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF’s). Nursing facilities provide professional level nursing services for individuals who have acute and/or chronic medical problems. Restorative and rehabilitation services are available. NF’s and SNF’s have an LPN or RN on-site 24 hours a day.
